1. Acceptance

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the BuckFlare mobile application and related services (the “Service”). By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy at https://buckflare.com/privacy.

You represent that you are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

2. The Service

BuckFlare is a consumer financial application that helps you track portfolios, organize assets, link bank and investment accounts through Plaid when you authorize a connection, and receive related notifications.

The Service is for personal portfolio tracking and informational purposes. Nothing in the Service is investment, tax, or legal advice. BuckFlare is not your fiduciary or registered investment adviser.

3. Accounts and acceptable use

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for activity under your credentials. Do not misuse the Service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with other users, or use the Service for unlawful purposes.

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if we reasonably believe your use creates risk for BuckFlare, other users, or third parties.

4. Financial linking

When you link a financial institution, you interact with Plaid Link. Plaid’s terms and privacy disclosures apply to that process. We receive only the data you authorize, as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. Market data and AI outputs can be incomplete, delayed, or incorrect.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BUCKFLARE AND ITS AFFILIATES ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

6. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted at https://buckflare.com/terms with an updated effective date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.
